BYA will go to April 30, 2011 Lao Thingyan. Berkeley Thingyan, Water Festival, University of California Berkeley, Memorial Glade, April 24, 2011 Sunday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. TBYG April 16, 2011 is requesting to each for kids that is related to Thingyan. Ma Khin Sandar Aung to teach some student about Thingyan history and Ko Kyaw Lin Htat would also help with the power point presentation.
BYA collected at the meeting had the total donation was sent out. Ko Wai Phyo had already sent detail donation info to BYA.
The date is set for July 9, 2011 Saturday. The theater is confirmed and the flyer will be printed out. BYA is coming out with a strategy to regroup with the other organizations, but for now BYA will do whatever it takes to make this event happens by coordinating with other. Finally, BYA decided to help with the July event.
The date : June 4, 2011. Tickets : Student $10.00, BYA Member $15.00, General $20.00, VIP $30.00. Ticket Design : Ko Kyaw Kyaw Soe will come up with the design and will print out for selling. Design : agreed to keep the way Ma Phyo Sandi Aung but some additional info will be add on to make it more presentable and informative. Program : Ko Kyaw Min Oo, Ko Wai Phyo, Ma Myat Soe Mon and Ma Phyo Sandi Aung. Sound system : Provide by Sapphire. Raffle ticket : To carry on next meeting agenda. Slide show : Current graduate, student life photos. The past event will be print out and will post it on the wall at the lounge. Survey form might be available if time permit. Speaker : Ko Zaw Thet, Ko Kevin Lwin (PHD) UC Berkeley, Ko Wai Lin. Food selection: Will come and visit to Sapphire and check things out. Sponsors : Ko Wai Phyo, Ko Kyaw Min Oo. Invitation : To all the colleges and universities will be sending info over the Facebook. Flyer distribution will be on April 17, 2011 at Half moon Bay monastery event by Ko Wai Phyo and Ko Kyaw Lin Htat.
Last than 4 hrs trips. Ko Zarni Tun will get more selection the places to choose that are either near water as well as a good accommodation.
Number 17 question that was the one got stuck and would get help from Alisa from BRFN to give us advise to get it done with the process.
