BYA is helping Burmese Classic Team for their event on February 6, 2011 since the proceed from the event will go to Nargis Orphanages in Burma(Myanmar). Ko Wai Phyo proposed to have one project to be able to help poor people inside Burma (Myanmar) as BYA project. Attendees suggested that BYA does not have resource and energy, and it is better to help whatever help needed in Project Help Burma since they are the organization specifically to help people inside Burma (Myanmar). Ma Myat Soe Mon resigned from being an entertainment coordinator but she will be helping with other projects. Evaluation of BYA activities and community involvement was done. Attendees decided BYA needs to be strong foundation first in order to take on the projects and needs from the community. There are some progresses on application of non-profit organization status and need to put more effort on.

Election committee will be form for BYA annual election. Ma Nant Nandi Kyaw Min will be leading the election committee. Created officers nominees and applications. Collected nominees for Board of Directors and the suited position for each nominee. Follow up email and announcement for election will be sent by her as well.

Next meeting will be election meeting. Ko Thura Ko will be finding out the place and let us know the time and date for the meeting.
